Tips for buying your airline tickets!
Research shows that airlines make money buy watching buying habits or buying trends. Most economists say that 8 weeks before your trip is the best time to buy tickets. Most airlines say 6 weeks before your trip is the best time to buy. While it is smart to shop early, it might be best to wait before you buy. Airlines do start offering cheaper seats about four months early.
Tips for savvy airline ticket shoppers
Holiday travel is an exception! You want to buy those tickets as soon as possible.
Sunday is usually the most expensive day to fly either going out or coming back.
Prices on tickets can change up to three times a day.
It is a great idea to sign up for email alerts for ticket prices.
Prices rise quickly a week before flight times so keep that in mind when booking. You could pay
40% more. Discounted tickets are usually on sale early in the week so buy Monday or Tuesday. A good rule of thumb is to buy Tuesday and Wednesday and fly Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday!

A trip with the family can be lots of fun-or a whopper of a headache! We have some tips to make sure your travels are on the terrific side instead of the terrible.
Pack a small backpack for each child. Find one that is a size they can carry on their own. Pack a couple of their favorite toys remembering that weight can be an issue. Some suggested ideas are coloring books, crayons, sticker books. Try to pack things they don’t always see or play with so it holds their interest. Put in a couple snacks and their favorite drink. If they're carrying a videogame, make sure you pack that charger and/or extra batteries.
Do dollar store presents for the trip. Each hour of the flight let your child open a present. This keeps them entertained and it gives you a reward tool.
Pack the power strip. This is especially important if you're flying on your trip. Nothing is worse than getting to your gate and needing to power up, but finding no empty outlets. If you just bring a power strip several people can plug in (making you a very popular passenger!), and you won't have to feel guilty for plugging in a game boy when the guy beside you really needs to recharge his cell phone.
