Why You Should Experience the Grand Canyon

Last updated 6 years ago

The Grand Canyon is one of the most amazing natural sights in the world. Everyone should see this natural wonder at least once, and there are a number of different ways you can enjoy this experience by parking and flying out from the Orlando airport. In this post, we’ll talk about visiting the Grand Canyon and what to do while you’re there.

The Grand Canyon is considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Every year, Grand Canyon National Park gets over 5 million visitors who RV and fly in from all over the world. The Canyon itself is 217 miles long, but Grand Canyon National Park covers over 1,900 square miles.

There are a number of things to do at the Grand Canyon, including hiking, backpacking, guided tours, and rafting. Grand Canyon National Park is very accommodating for people who fly in from out of state or park their RVs long-term at the canyon. Cars and private RVs are eligible for the standard parking fee of $25. Parking is very convenient—there are a number of parking lots that are accessible using the park shuttle system, which will take you anywhere you’d like to go in the park or Grand Canyon Village. The Grand Canyon International Airport also makes it convenient for people to fly from the Orlando airport to the Grand Canyon.

Sadly, pets are not allowed below the rim of the canyon, in park lodging, or on park shuttle buses. So if you’re planning a trip from Orlando to the Grand Canyon, then choose a long-term parking solution that is convenient for both you and your pet. Park, Bark and Fly provides convenient airport parking for travelers leaving the Orlando International Airport. We also offer long-term RV parking, as well as comfortable pet boarding solutions! For more information, visit Park, Bark & Fly online or call (407) 855-5899.
